In 2021, Pepperdine University was awarded a $10 million grant from the W. M. Keck Foundation to strengthen research and teaching methods in the field of Data Science. As part of this grant, Pepperdine Libraries and faculty members teamed up to present an exhibition in the Payson Library Exhibit Gallery titled Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. On Thursday, November 3, at 3:30 PM, Fabien Scalzo, exhibition co-curator and associate professor of computer science at Seaver College, presented at a gallery talk.
